This describes how to do it, a group admin needs to do it: This will make it a lot easier to manage the emails. Thanks! Cell 510 432 1589 |

Hello Francis,
in google mail it is very easy to filter for "list:<jenkinsci-dev.googlegroups.com>" which is a much better way than looking into the subject IMO. Hi Mirko, Thanks for your suggestion. There is no way in gmail to mark the subject line based on a filter. And this is an issue checking my mail both on my computer and on mobile devices (you can label email in gmail using a filter, but that does not help me with my iphone).
So I still would like to see a prefix for the group. Francis

Using gmail on my iPhone, I just dump mailing lists to their own label, which shows up in a different folder on my phone, which works great. ---- Andrew Melo Sent from my secret fortress.

I am very much against this. There are already lots of easy and standard ways of doing this. I happen to think that reducing the amount of Subject I see is way worse than having redundant information occupying that space. -1000, learn to use your email clients better, or change them, -Jesse -- There are 10 types of people in this world, those that can read binary and those that can not. |

I agree with others - with Gmail's labels this should be unnecessary
as the label becomes the indicator... Richard.
