com.sun:tools:jar:1.5 is missing

Sung Kim-2
I'm trying to build a plug-in using the 'mvn package' command. I was out of
luck and got this error message. How can I proceed?

Hi,

I haven't experienced this myself, but I'm guessing that your
JAVA_HOME is not correct? Maybe it's pointing to a JRE instead of a
JDK?

Hmm, which version of Maven are you using, and how do you invoke it?

The definition in question is:

 >         <dependency>
 >           <groupId>com.sun</groupId>
 >           <artifactId>tools</artifactId>
 >           <version>1.5</version>
 >           <scope>system</scope>
 >           <systemPath>${java.home}/../lib/tools.jar</systemPath>
 >         </dependency>

... and it's supposed to find this file from your JDK installation.

Sung Kim-2
Reinstalling JDK (1.6.10) and setting the JAVA_HOME addresses my
problem. Thanks!
