Spam in Jenkins CI Wiki

Fred G
Hi,

the following users are spaming the Jenkins CI Wiki:
-"brain storm1"
-"apipah dot com"

Can someone with the necessary rights block/delete/roundhouse-kick them?

Regards,

Fred

All right, I've cleaned up all I can find.

I've made a few adjustments to the permission rules to prevent abuse.
This shouldn't affect regular use, but if you discover any issues with
your account, please let me know.

Larry Shatzer, Jr.
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/~rizqyluck  and  https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/~donipunyablog are new spammers...

It also looks like there is a "bookmark" feature in Confluence they are abusing instead of the now removed "Blog" post feature:  https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/.bookmarks

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Preventing+and+Cleaning+Up+Spam  has some tips on how to mass delete spam via the database, since I know you cleaned out a ton of spam pages.

Removed. I've been keeping eyes on it every few days and deleting stuff
and banning accounts manually, but it's ongoing.

Yes, but I haven't figured out how to disable that feature.

You can disable the plugin "Social Bookmarking Plugin" in its entirety.

I'm not admin on confluence but I did the cleanup on Jira
I deleted the issue and removed the user form jira-users group to block it.
(We'll need to think to upgrade jira. The new version allow to disable accounts).
