Running a script wrapped with the jenkins-core jar successfully posts the output of that script to the appropriate jenkins job, but also returns an HTTP 500 error and stack trace (see attachment).

From talking to b2jrock on freenode#jenkins, it seems that this is a regression of a pre-fork bug, HUDSON-2786.
